Leigh Sewell
After 26 years in the corporate world, most recently as President of Bon Secours Memorial Medical Center and Rappahannock General Hospital, Leigh wanted to exercise her entrepreneurial muscle while staying involved in the community she loves.
Leigh has been a fashion enthusiast since she was a 4-year-old shopping with her mom and has been a Monkee’s customer for over 15 years. So it was only fitting that she open a Monkee’s boutique. She took the opportunity to open Monkee's of Richmond and become the new owner of Monkee's of Virginia Beach!
As a mother of four girls, Leigh has a passion for supporting women and has created a friendly, energetic, positive atmosphere for women to look and feel their best! Leigh is excited to offer an upscale shopping destination for three generations of women in Carytown, as well bring her personality to the heart of Virginia Beach!
